Cartagena in late December.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very dark and had no drawers or shelves to hold our clothes. Breakfast (included) was good but definitely not great. Location was good. Bar has a good vibe.

This was a nice and cute hotel within the walled city. Very beautifully decorated and extremely close to everything within the walled city so definitely convenient. The negative here is on the room size - we had a normal sized room on the 3rd floor and the room is quite small. The washroom also feels like it’s part of the room as there’s no separating room for the washroom, more like a stall built in to one side with a toilet in it and another stall built into the next corner with a shower in it. I didn’t find that to be a very pleasant experience as it was all too close to the bed etc. not sure I’d return to the same hotel based on that. The breakfast was simple and decent. You can ask for eggs any way you like in the morning so that was nice.

Hotel Casa La Factoría is located within the walled city, in the town center. We walked all throughout the town center from our hotel and never once felt unsafe. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket for all your needs Kevin at the from desk was very attentive as was the rest of the staff.

Staff is helpful and doing their best despite that not everyone is english speaking. Just be polite and don't forget to tip. (Just don't expect any Emirates or USA luxury). Lovely boutique hotel located in unique building with main pool on the main floor and little jacuzzi pool on rooftop with sunbeds, sauna and spa. Take in count to climb some stairways ups and downs (No elevator!). Except small list of imperfections here and there, like long waiting for hot water in the shower, shower door not closed tightly with leaking water :) and few facilities need small upgrades around the hotel is nice and good enough for pleasant stay. Leave AC working on, 23-25c to take away high humidity in your room. Breakfast buffet is lovely with fresh prepared eggs and pastry. Be careful of Bocagrande beach area overloaded with scammers (don't order anything without seeing real menu in front of you!). After all, We would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in Cartagena. Awesome location and close to everything. Special thanks also to Kevin at Reception, for all tips / advices and welcoming us so nicely.

The property’s infrastructure was overall nice, the only amenity that didn’t look like the pictures was the jacuzzi, it was super small it could barely fit two people, it also can’t be considered a jacuzzi because the water wasn’t even hot, it was just cold water with bubbles, the overall state was deplorable. In the room you’re able to hear everything that is going on outside, it has no noise cancellation whatsoever. I also had a massage session which was supposed to be a relaxing massage but it ended up being more like an esthetic massage, I have never felt worse in a massage in my whole life. The people who work here weren’t attentive or nice to you as soon as they notice that you’re not a foreigner, the whole time I was there the service was bad, I used the restaurant and they would never want to bring me coffee or take my order and once they did it would take them a long time to bring it even though I was the only person there l. It is such a shame that such a beautiful place has people like that working, I went on this vacation to have a nice time and relax and I ended up feeling even worse than at the beginning of the vacation. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

This hotel is a must stay. We were here for 4 nights. Easy to walk to restaurants , shopping , or Uber cheaply everywhere. Staff was amazing with communication in English and helping me book great tours.
