"Love it"

"I like that’s it’s off the main tourist area but within a short walking distance. I also love the pool area and the style of the rooms as well as the access to the night club and adult areas. The things I didn’t like is that there is no fridge or microwave in the room which is a big inconvenience when you have an extended stay. Also the pool was very very cold to the point nobody could swim in it or enjoy the water. Lastly this place really needs a hot tub and I think adding some of these things would greatly improve the overall rating and customer reviews "

"Always a nice stay at the Cortez. If given the option, choose Cortez and DO NOT stay at Oasis at Gold Spike if you're middle aged, white and by yourself. Oasis will assume you're there for nefarious reasons regardless of how many times you stay there and will stuff you in some garbage room in a corner and if you even try to discuss their practice of doing this, they will immediately become rude and defensive. They are discriminatory at Oasis and WILL NOT follow up on any concerns. Enjoy the El Cortez though, it's wonderful!"
