Excellent service and amenities

We had a lovely stay at this property. Lynda warmly greeted us at the front desk and was a font of information about Charleston. The bell hop/valet was equally as pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We would stay here again for all of the above reasons and the excellent location.

We stay at Planters inn every time we are in Charleston. We have always had a great room and great service. This is a great location and easy walking to most places you would want to go. I have only great things to say.

To Hot for Comfort

It was unseasonably warm during our visit and the AC would not cool room. We were told that system had been switched to “winter mode” and thus could not cool. Never heard of this, but perhaps it’s an older system. Unfortunately we could just not sleep without AC.
