We drove up in our RV Van and they were more than accommodating to park it for us to where we could still get access to it. From the moment that we arrived, to the time we left, every staff member was extremely nice/helpful. we used your dog sitting services, and our doggie seemed tired out when we picked him up, which is great. We ate at the fondue restaurant and our server - Melanie, I believe-was a lot of fun and helpful with hiking suggestions etc. The view from our room was outstanding. Will be back again some day.

We enjoyed a terrific three night stay in September 2024. Everything was terrific but the staff really stood out as exceptional - everyone we encountered had a ready smile and was genuinely interested in accommodating our needs. In particular, the food service staff on the 7th Gold Floor was terrific. There is ongoing construction but it did not inconvenience us, staying on the concierge floor saved us money on food, and the convenience of staying at the lake was priceless.

The Chateau is first class all the way. We splurged on the room so we could explore all Lake Louise has to offer. We hiked several trails, rented a canoe and enjoyed the most glorious sunrise. Not gonna lie this place is pricey including eating and drinking on site. This place is world class. The only tiny negative was that drinks always too a bit to long to come to the table.

A beautiful location with a subpar overpriced hote
We recently stayed at the Fairmount Chateau which is in a beautiful location, but felt completely overcharged. We spent four nights in a lake view room on the 8th floor, paying an exorbitant $1200 USD per night, and the experience didn't come close to meeting our expectations. The room was tiny, stuffed with oversized, worn furniture, and poorly designed. The bathroom was shockingly small, with split-hinged doors that made it feel more like an old saloon than a luxury hotel. The tub was peeling, baseboards were chipped and dirty, and the plastic toilet seat was scratched beyond the point where it should be replaced. There was almost no counter space, and two people couldn't use the bathroom without bumping into each other. To make matters worse, construction from 8 AM to 6 PM ruined the view and added noise, making the stay even more disappointing. While the staff was great, the room was nowhere near worth the $1200 price tag. The hotel management should be embarrassed by the condition of room 833.

Rooms and views were beautiful except for the construction but understandable. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our server at Walliser Stube was excellent. A resort of this magnitude should’ve had an outdoor pool. We were very pleased overall. Nothing can beat being on Lake Louise and those views.
