I had a king room with a pet, so they may give pets the rooms with old carpet... anyway, it was the kind of carpet you don't want to walk on barefoot. Pretty grubby. The room was alright, but very dank & damp. A dehumidifier would've made a big difference.That said, it was ok overall. The bed was comfortable & clean. The bathroom was clean. Fridge worked fine. No major complaints.

All picture of the hotel are obviously when originally built. Carpets were dirty and we found blood on the sheet. We paid 250.00 and the room had 1 towel and 1 washcloth. The lobby was dirty and the furniture was so dirty I was afraid to sit down. Don’t waste your money

Terrible service for price paid!
Terrible customer service. Paid $490 for a weekend staycation, only to be disappointed in breakfast options and downright unprofessional staff who allow teens to knock on doors throughout nights and needles in pools.

The staff were friendly but our room was not great. NO telephone, no towels and only one very small garbage can. They didn’t clean our room the first day. So we went to complain and were told that we needed to tell them if we wanted it clean. I have never ever heard of that in all my stays at many hotels!!! The fact that we were two ladies with no phone, it didn’t feel safe. They did rectify this issue. I don’t think I would stay there again, even though the location was perfect for us.

This hotel was in a good for location for what we needed. However I would not stay there again. It was just adequate. It is old and tired and in need of some TLC. There was nothing that stood out as great. The beds were comfy but definitely could use some new pillows. Like I say it was perfect for what we needed but don’t expect much.

Not clean anywhere plus huge blood stain! AVOID
Anyone who says this hotel is nice must have very low standards. My family is not picky, but we do want our room to be clean. This hotel on a whole is not clean. Around all the doors where someone would hold the door was covered in smudges and who knows what from people's hands. When we walked into our room we looked into the bathroom first. There was hair all over the place. Stuck to the wall in the shower, on the sides of the tube, stuck to the ripped and torn shower curtain, and also on the toilet. The towels were not restocked in the room. The lamps in the room had stains and smears on them. My husband got a clump of hair like from someone's brush stuck to the bottom of his sock. I don't think the room was ever vacuumed. Our three children were even extremely grossed out. Pretty sure all they did was change the sheets and clean the sink (probably only did that because the facets get very smudged up with soap easily). Other members of our family stayed in a different room which was in the same state as ours but worse. The mirror light didn't work but that wasn't the worst part. There was a huge blood stain on the side of one of the mattresses under the sheet! It was a big sized stain. We stuck it out only because there were no other hotels available for our large group or we would have left. Avoid this place if you can help it! There is a difference in needing updated and just unclean. I could write more but I've ran out of characters.

Our stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Mason met our expectations. Our room was "relatively" clean, comfortable, and spacious. Wifi worked well, and breakfast offered sufficient variety of hot and cold choices. -- Even though our room was on the side of the hotel located furthest from I-71, there was still some noise from passing vehicles.

Going downhill!
This was my 5th stay at this location, mainly due to it's excellent location. It was likely my last stay! Each stay was a little worse than the one before. This time, the bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned. The TV did not work, we did not have soap, shampoo or coffee. The towels were heavily stained and had long hairs on them. The second day, our towels were removed and the trash can emptied, nothing else. No towels replaced, no cleaning, TV not replaced (front desk said they would take care of.). I also get the impression people are living there now, not just overnight stays.
