"What a hidden gem! Honestly, the photos don’t do this place justice, it’s even better in person. The vibe is pure Pura Vida from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly kind, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming. We only had breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and the food was great, but huge portions. A tip: before booking any activities outside, check with the hotel first. I really wish we had booked the chocolate tour! We did the cooking class and absolutely loved it — preparing and sharing comida de la abuela made for such a special and authentic experience. Thank you !"

"This property is stunning. I’ve been to La Fortuna before but this blue me away. From the moment I stepped on the grounds to the moment I left the staff were so amazing. So sweet and kind and hardworking. They really care about customer satisfaction here. I had the prior year stayed at a 4 star resort called the Royal Corin, my experience there was horrible but I fell in love with the town. I came back and stayed here and what I experienced can’t be put in stars. It’s what you are looking for. If you’re looking for a sign, this is it. This is the Costa Rican experience you want and will never forget."

"Reception staff was wonderful! JJ is an absolute star , their recommendations for restaurants & things to do were top notch ! The rooms are pretty dated , but clean , sheets have been used for waaay too long , they're stained & worn . Breakfast was great , no problems with the hot water. The room was quite noisy ( concert from either the fridge/freezer , the fan in the bathroom or somewhere in the walls ). "
