"Fantastic views and great location "

"I was very happy with this hotel. It is located directly on the waterfront, a short 10min walk away from Intramuros, and a 15min walk from the TGV train station. My room (fourth floor, street side) was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed and a very good shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and they all spoke English for the times when my (very limited) French gave out. Breakfast was excellent. A great selection of bread, including croissants, jams, cold cuts, juices, cereal, and pastries. Additionally, there are freshly-prepared eggs and crepes. The breakfast room doubles as a creperie / tea salon during the day. One very minor issue was that the elevator was out of order during my stay, and my room was on the fourth floor. Not an issue for me, but it might have been a problem for guests with limited mobility. Overall 5/5 rating, would book again in a heartbeat."

"I had a lovely time at the Hotel Le Beaufort from the minute I arrived until I checked out. The reception staff was warm and welcoming, as were the restaurant staff. I decided to change my room choice at the last minute, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. My room was a bay window first-floor room with a tub. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the view and little veranda were absolutely worth the extra cost. I ate at the restaurant and was very pleased with my meal. The skate was especially delicious - cooked perfectly with warmly spiced grains. The dinner was an excellent value. I would absolutely come back to this charming hotel when staying in Saint-Malo. It is an excellent value."
