"Spent 2 nights here with my 13 and 10 year old and our small dog. The staff was wonderful, including attentive life guards, and the food and drinks were excellent and convenient (the water park bar was under construction so options were limited to a handful of bottled/canned and pre-made soft drinks and alcoholic beverages). 2 days was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the indoor water park, lazy river, slides, and hot tub and wave pool. While the property has been here a while, it seems to have been gutted and completely renovated - rooms were spacious and looked brand new and bathrooms had lovely with adorable sea-themed features. Despite the fact that there were dogs on the premises, everything was incredibly well-kept, although there was some trash around the grounds like fast food wrappers and cigarette butts but no dog waste. The day time snack shop where breakfast was served also had some delicious hot options like breakfast and lunch sandwiches and also served alcohol, which was convenient. Visited in late March so didn’t experience outdoor pool, which I think does exist. Would definitely go again for another day trip or weekend! "

"Overnight birthday stay for my 8 year old. Reception was fast, easy and the customer service helpful and pleasant offering restaurant suggestions and pointing out amenities. Carver King rooms seem to be updated with a view facing their front lot, not staying for the view so that was irrelevant. Relatively clean room and rest of the hotel seems to be kept up though worn in some places. Pool and arcade were the reason for staying and didn’t disappoint. Lots of Ryan’s game machines to earn points from to put towards prizes as well as multiple claw machines, we now have an entourage of various stuffed animals accompanying us home. Be aware though that the arcade is an easy 80 degrees so stopping at the sauna is not needed if your playing. The indoor pool area was not warm. Clean but much cooler than most indoor facilities in and out of the water. Lifeguard/attendant having the slider door open in 40 degree rainy weather wasn’t helping the area around the pool either. In all my child was happy with the stay and we had no real issues to complain about so it was a decent stay at a reasonable price. "
