Exceeded my expectation. Quality of breakfast and other meals was excellent. Attentive staff. Safe environment. Other resorts/hotels listed here can be accessed nearby on foot or short taxi ride which is good for entertainment or change of scenery. I highly recommend this hotel. A fabulous stay!

I found the property to be very clean, with professional and friendly staff. We arrived late but the staff kept the kitchen open for us so that we could have a dinner meal. This property and the rooms are small in comparison to other local properties, but the layout was well thought out, making the rooms and amenities very comfortable and convenient. This property could easily rival any 4-star hotel or resort. And the price was great! We are already planning our next stay.

I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. The hotel was nice, beautiful pool and views. The room was nice and bed comfortable. A/C worked but never got cold despite being on 17C all night. Staff and wear & tear let this place down. The woman at breakfast could not understand our order despite me having a broadly generic Canadian accent. The lounge chairs around the pool have the foam exposed on the cushions - time for a refresh. Overall it was nice, and I probably would stay again but more because of the paucity of nice hotels in Elminah.

An oasis with views
A nice oasis up on the hill above the town, that overlooks the fort, castle and the salt pools. Restaurant was very good and had a diverse menu with many options. The only negative would be the drive to the location you have to pass directly through the local villages garbage dump on the side of the road so each time you go to/from the hotel you drive right through it. Not that the hotel itself has much control over where the dumping is, just a soar site/smell to an otherwise great hotel with great views. All in all, I probably wouldn't let that one factor deter me from staying again.

A very nice hotel up on the hill in Elmina. Nice and clean. VERY good food in the hotel restaurant. Only one minus: one staffmember was very drunk on our arrival.

New-ish hotel in Elmina with excellent food
Relatively new hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms contained in bungalow units of 2 rooms. Situated on a hill above Elmina, so nice views over the coast and castle. Minor drawback was that the pool could have been cleaner and better maintained. Food was delicious - highly recommend eating dinner here (make sure you order in advance as common in Ghana).

Great place with some minor logistical problems
We came here for one night and were automatically greeted and checked in early to a room with an awesome view (#41). Staff was courteous and polite and provided us with an adapter for charging electronics as they only use the UK type chargers (the ones with the circular prongs). The hotel had nice clean grounds, although most of it is covered in Palm nut shells making it difficult to walk without sinking in. Definitely not condusive for dragging suitcases on them. Now onto the room itself... The power and AC was not on initially, but the staff came and turned it on immediately. The toilet wobbled when you sat on it, to the point that it felt like it would fall over if you moved too far and there was no hot water, just warm. Wasn't a big deal for us since we had such a short stay so we didn't bother asking if there was hot water. Maybe that was something else that had a simple quick fix. Lunch and dinner at restaurant was decent. We left early so we didn't have any breakfast. Minus the small hiccups and some of the logistics, it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

Very nice property on top of a hill with great views over elmina. Rooms are clean and spacious. Restaurant has a good selection. Pool is nice but needs to be cleaned, the pool ground is really slippery.
