"Our group of 7 people (3 adults and 4 kids) made a last-minute booking at Hotel Portneuvois when it had the last 2 rooms available in the Quebec City region on a fall holiday weekend. We had no idea what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. Checkin was courteous and quick. Rooms were impeccably clean. Beds were warm and cozy. It is a 45-minute drive from old town Quebec, but much of the route is scenic and there are several pleasant and picturesque towns on the way for a meal etc. A great value if you are looking to stay in the region but find prices or availability in QC itself to be prohibitive."

"We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. Being able to look out the window and watch the birds at the bird feeder was wonderful throughout the day. The chalet was very clean and had all the co.forts of home."

"The house is cozy and comfortable with a large kitchen. The property is gorgeous with a large backyard and wide view of the St. Lawrence river. We spent hours sitting and watching the water, talking and reading. The pharmacy and grocery are both within a quick walk and Quebec City is an easy drive. Loved it! "
