We had great time staying in Bahia Principe Punta Cana. We love the food, the location is perfect, my son likes the entertainment. However they need to improve their internet connection, fix the air conditioner and make their rooms updated.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I’m from the Bronx. The staff was wonderful though, their service and attentiveness was the only reason I don’t consider suing.

La cerradura estana dañada. Tuvimos que esperar por 3 noches consecutivas por 1 hora que llegaran. Y otros familiares mios tuvieron aun mas malas experiencias. Ni siquiera limpiaron el cuarto por todas las noches. Mal mal todo. El peor All inclusive en el cual nosotros nos hemos hospedado. No lo recomiendo para nada.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. Staff are rude and consistently unhelpful. No one smiles and a the majority speak little english. Check in process was close to 4 hours, wasting the majority of our first day. Food is barely edible. The Japanese a la carte is falsely advertised as a restaurant and entertainment, but it is not. The free amenities such as water sports are far from the main beach making them difficult to get to and they are only available until mid-day. Pushy sales people are directly on the resort so you cant go anywhere without someone asking you for money.

You can only make dinner reservations for half the time you’re there. For example, a 4 night/5 day stay can only get you 2 dinner reservations. On the bright side, there are a couple of buffet options at the main lobby as well as by the beach. The staff are incredible, friendly, and nice! We had room service daily and the housekeeping staff always did a great job!

We stayed at Bahia Punta Cana. The pools were the only part of the hotel we liked! The water park that we were able to use was broken everywhere just blocked off by pool furniture and tons of missing tiles and murky water. The AC was basically a fan and the room ceiling leaked. The buffet was very regular and the buffet room had a strange odor. Forget the beach. Although its not the property's fault, there was tons of seaweed that was not cleaned up(like some areas we walked past) and the whole place was just mosquito infested. The alcohol was basic house liquor. No real tequila or any liquor unless you paid more. On the reservation it said we had access to the other properties but that was a lie. We only had access to Bavaro and another one by the water park I mentioned that were just as bad. Do yourself and your family the favor and spend more to upgrade to Fantasia or Esmeralda. Or just a different resort all together. Bahia Punta Cana is not the place.
