Dont stay in the budget room. So small cant even see out of the window. Couldnt breathe was told not to open the window. Room was lovely and clean though. Food lovely.

Fantastic location with own parking

We arrived early and were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful receptionist Peter, our room was not ready at this point We had just finished a coffee and Peter came and told us the suite was ready and presented us with the key, this allowed us to then unpack and explore our surroundings. The suite was very comfortable with 3 separate compartments; on suite bedroom, changing drinks making and a TV lounge. Dinner service and food were excellent. The free breakfast had a good choice range continental or full English. In all we had a very enjoyable and restful 4 nights.

Great location & staff

Great location in Lyndhurst, car parking on site, very helpful staff from front desk to restaurant and good food...not to mention the oldest elevator in Europe

Lovely hotel, in good central village location. Lots of shops, pubs etc nearby. Had a beautiful room with four poster bed. However, mattress was very soft and sagged in the middle, which made for an uncomfortable night. Advertised as kingsize but was really a double. Apart from that room very clean. Good feather pillows too. Restaurant food - very small portions but delicious, although burger dry and hard. Good breakfast selection, but not quite hot enough. Service excellent.

The hotel is lovely and clean. The service was very good. Our room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was quite modern. However the bed was uncomfortable, the shower pressure was low and the water was not very hot. The breakfast was more of a 3* offering than a 4*.

Lovely stay

A lovely stay in a beautiful traditional hotel. The staff were friendly and we were happy with our room. The bed was comfortable. Our only issue was being too hot at night. I had checked the radiator before going to bed so it may have just been a very warm duvet. Breakfast in the morning was very nice with a good selection to choose from. Great location on the main highstreet and no noise reaching our room. We would definitely stay again.
