"Wonderful part of Walla Walla history in the Marcus Whitman hotel. Classy but not snobby. All the staff are very helpful! Two ladies at the front desk at check in and check out were lovely. Claire and Therese were perfect people to greet us. Walking distance to so much! Four tasting rooms attached to the hotel. The restaurant was yummy both for breakfast and dinner. Our first visit to Walla Walla and the Marcus Whitman but not our last. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"I had a chance to talked to front desk clerk and housekeeper and both of them were so polite and professional. The hotel was pretty clean and breakfast pretty good for the rate/price. The hotel added it to the great experience to tour Whitman College. Thank you Walla Walla for the wonderful memories with my family 💕"

"A very comfortable space for our small group, which could have easily and comfortably accommodated several more friends. The three large en suite bedrooms were very cozy and spacious -- lots of sleeping in and enjoying the bird song. Plenty of welcoming space for lounging and eating and the property is very cool. We loved being able to walk to and from Rooks Park about a mile away!"

"Dayton is a cute town and the hotel is a gem! We had a chance to meet the owner who is as personable and hospitable as he could be. Rooms were spacious with antique windows and high ceilings. We had a great stay and will return here if staying in Dayton. "
