The hotel is centrally located near the north end of the Prophet’s Mosque, about an 8-minute walk to the Rawdah. Our junior suite was spacious, with a separate living room and bedroom, but road noise from the lower floor was disruptive. The king bed was two joined beds with an uncomfortable split in the middle. Room tech was outdated, with damaged USB chargers and a faulty phone. The bathroom was clean, but the shower’s half-glass wall caused water to spill onto the floor. Only two towels were provided, though housekeeping brought more upon request.
Check-in at 4 pm is inconvenient, but Asst. Manager Adnan helped us get a room early as our son was unwell, a gesture we greatly appreciated. However, the lobby was chaotic at 12:30 pm, filled with tired guests and strewn luggage. Despite the front desk staff’s efforts, the luggage service was slow and lacked professionalism. The cafe was understaffed, with limited food options and overwhelmed employees trying to manage crowds.
Would I stay here again? Unfortunately, no. While the location is excellent and Adnan’s assistance stood out, the hotel felt impersonal and poorly managed. The chaotic lobby, understaffing, and transactional service left a lot to be desired. The Pullman needs to improve staffing and organization to create a more welcoming guest experience.
