"Ky is the halfway meeting point for our family living in Tn and In. We love the Ky countryside and enjoy the surrounding horse country. What better Christmas meeting place for our family than a 200 year old farm house on a working horse ranch. Our host (Julia) was very accommodating and the listing and pictures were very accurate. This property is somewhere between a VRBO and a B&B. The house was stocked well beyond a normal VRBO and Julia met us with a desert, as well as bacon and eggs to use for breakfast. We cooked a big Christmas dinner and had everything we needed. This is an old house so expect an old house. If you expect a modern home with ten foot cathedral ceilings and high end furnishings, this isn’t it. It’s all about the charm. The house is clean, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. We ventured around the stable area and met some of the horses. There is a wonderful small restaurant close by that you can see from the house. The chef is excellent and the food was great. We ate two meals there and the convenience was a bonus. If you’re looking for a vintage farm house experience on a working horse farm with everything you need, then I highly recommend. "
