The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the shower was nice and warm! The staff were very helpful. The food is good value for money but quite plain, don't expect anything overly exciting! The deserts were fantastic though!

Amazin service. The room was a bit noisy as I could hear people walking in the floor upstairs as it wasn't a concrete ceiling. But other than that everything was lovely.

Great to see these small independent hotels still thriving! So much friendlier & far more character than the usual ‘run of the mill’ commercial chains. Would happily book again.

Excellent room with very comfortable beds and quality towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was good but a a higher quality sausage and some haggis or black pudding would have been welcome. Excellent value overall but not quite enough parking.

Lovely quiet place, parking was difficult in the evening. Room was nice, though we did find a sock on the floor that didn’t belong to us. Breakfast was buffet style continental with odereable full cooked too.

Hotel was well presented but bed was awful, rock hard and didn’t sleep great, hosts were nice but felt like I’d just walked into a scene for the 70s, breakfast was well stocked and ok, ok for a one night stopover but we probably wouldn’t go back

Safety door lock not working. Room 45
I got locked into my room and had to phone for help, the safety lock on the door was not working. It was quickly remedied and help was sent but it scared me.
