Cannot understand good reviews, property is in need of serious maintenance both inside and out. Noise late at night and early morning as we were next to office, room lacked shelving in wardrobe, no mirror in bedroom, and had to ask for soap as none in bathroom. Fans dirty and rusty, cobwebs on walls and just absolute shock when you open the door, do not stay here... I have photos of all of the above.

Our stay was comfortable but the units are very outdated and need freshing up with a coat of paint It was odd having the bathroom basin outside of the shower room.

Need net curtains for additional privacy as the balcony is a shared walkway and not all the lights were working. The place is very convenient to town and beach. Discounts at reception is great too. We enjoyed our stay and will booked with them again.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. Location is terrific. Bed was comfortable. Loved having outdoor space (shared but still really nice to have). Having a kitchenette. Was great. Also big shoutout to the manager for being so kind as to allow a late checkout. Only downfalls: expensive laundry and the need to clean things like the ceiling fans and the skylight. But overall, I would recommend

Gentlemen at reception (named Bob) was friendly and approachable. He was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us great suggestions for activities and food options in Paihia. The bounty is very centrally located and easy walk to attractions,eateries and shops. The motel it self is very tired and needs a fair bit of TLC
