Intimate hotel with personal care by staff, state of the premises as if new it is maintained so well. Neighborhood more of a neighborhood than a tourist haven but close and walkable to tourist sites. A lot of unexpected charm.

The pool and steam room were great for relaxing after so much walking. Everything was clean and the staff were professional and accommodating. We stayed in a first floor garden room, the door to our room was in the garden area with a little patio. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet, so we had no trouble getting sleep.

This is an excellent property in a great area. Our room was on the top floor. The room itself was amazing. Spacious with a balcony and nice view. The I my negative thing about our stay was that the elevator was broken the entire 9 days we were there. We walked up and down the stairs several times a day. When asked about some kind of a compensation we kept being told “we will ask the manager” and nothing. Overall however, our stay was great and we would certainly come back, as long as the elevator is fixed.

La Lanterne is located in a great area! Away from all of the tourist attractions but close enough to walk or take the metro to anywhere you want to go. A lot of dining options and shopping options within walking distance. The pool and sauna are great! The staff is friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay that isn’t in the middle of all of the tourist areas.

Pros: - Conveniently located near numerous restaurants and shops, perfect for purchasing souvenirs for loved ones and friends. - A spa is available for guests who enjoy relaxation and wellness treatments. - The reception staff is friendly and always willing to assist. - Complimentary breakfast is provided, with a selection of delicious food. - The bathroom and shower facilities are modern and well-maintained. - The hotel is quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. Cons: - Access to the hotel requires climbing stairs, which can be inconvenient when carrying luggage. - The rooms are quite small unless you're willing to pay a premium. - Housekeeping amenities such as lotion, gel, and soap are not refilled unless specifically requested in writing. Overall Rating: 3.5 stars.

We spent 5 nights in a top level premium room and it was a fantastic stay. Room was spacious by Paris standards, quiet, had 2 balconies and good pod coffee machine. The bistro next door is great for traditional French and is good value for money and super convenient after long days walking. We didn’t have the hotel breakfasts because we were too excited to get to Maison Isabelle bakery near Maubert metro station entrance, it is delicious. We loved the spa and gym but the steam room was a bit underwhelming. Room was kept really clean and we would definitely return.

Wonderful ,great locations lots of cafes around. Only thing we did not like was our room was 32 it had large wood beam that we each hit with either our head or shoulders several times resulting in bruises Loved the cave like pool great relaxation. Would recommend this hotel
