Favorite choice in Center City Philly

Had a great stay once again at the Sonder Witherspoon. My room was spacious, including a separate small office (super helpful!) and well-stocked, and the check-in and check-out processes were seamless (once you’ve set yourself up in their system, which FYI it seems you only have to do once and then you’re good for repeat stays in any Sonder property). Had my sister stay with me overnight and she was perfectly comfortable on the pull-out sofa bed in the separate living room that gave us sufficient privacy. The location is perfect for quick access to restaurants, theaters and the Philadelphia Orchestra, plus multiple light rail lines.

I love this Sonder - so convenient for everything in city center and walkable to all attractions. The kitchen was fully furnished so you could cook a big meal if you wanted. The whole place was safe and super clean. Definitely recommended.

The Sonder Witherspoon was a wonderful stay. Great location, very walkable. Loved the studio-apartment feel of the room. There was some noticeable wearandtear on the walls and fixtures, as well as a small hole/leak in the closet ceiling. I had to set a bowl on the clothes shelf so the water wouldn’t drip on my clothes; luckily it was a minor leak!

Cute but not the greatest

The room was comfortable and spacious - we didn’t experience the street noise that other reviews mentioned. The room was relatively clean but not at all like the photos - completely different layout in the 1br loft than advertised. There were big stains on the couch, a painting that had fallen on the floor and not hung back up before we got there (my bf ended up fixing it because the hardware had been left in the end table drawer), and the bathroom door upstairs did not latch. You can tell that this is a long-term stay room and seems like they give it the landlord special in between stays. Really nice location and cool space which makes up for the lil things, but not worth the cost per night plus additional parking costs that were not included.
