Excellent service. Part of the pool at Baray Villas were not well lit. Passage way to get to villa looks like we are going into a low end hotel when in fact we are going into a beautiful villa. It looks like the whole hotel has been well decorated except the Baray Villas area which appears unfinished.

I stayed at the sawasdee village resort and spa. Such a beautiful place. I booked the baray villa for my partners birthday. He really loved it. The room felt like a house since it’s a two story room. From the reception office, it’s not a far walk at all, but I can tell people can get lost figuring it out. The service was amazing, sweet, considerate, and very friendly. I highly recommend to book this room, you get amenities and goodies in the room which is super sweet. You have a jacuzzi that leads into the pool and it’s super quiet and pretty. You’re secluded from the other room type, which makes you feel special. The other pools in the resorts are nice, but the chairs might be taken. For our room, there are more mosquitoes in the area, so make sure to close the pool door at night. Everything in the room is super clean, you get free drinks, tiger balm, mosquito lotion, snacks, and other amenities. We had an issue with the A/C system, if you put the temp down, it goes back up. I don’t know how to figure it out, but I set the timer to 15 hours at 18 Celsius? (The really cold temp) which makes the room stays cool for that long. That was the only thing I had a problem with. Other than that, bed was huge, soft, and comfortable.

The property was very unique in a good way. No other hotel has the same style and attention to detail. Amazing place for pictures. It was scented throughout the property. Now for the bad. The Baray villa, which was the room we booked, was dated. The private tub that led to the pool was worth it. The space felt dark, due to lack of natural and poor lighting. However the amazing staff was able to switch us out of that room and into their 2nd teir room, Cabana Pool Access. This room was smaller but had more light, updated fixtures, a better shower and stars in the ceiling. It's by far the better room. They even throw in complementary massage for two, to offset the price different. Other notables: the hotel is peaceful but the area is lively, safe, 7/11 near by, and walkable. Oh and if your exchanging money do it at the exchange places near the hotel. The rates are much better than the airport.

This is a 6 star hotel!!! Absolute paradise at Sawasdee Village. I have done my share traveling around the world and this hotel ranks as the best. As soon as you walk into the front you are surrounded by luxury gardens and the friendliest staff you could imagine. The place at night is unbelievable with everything lit up. Every sense is catered to and every little detail has been taken care of. Stay in the Baratheon Villa….you feel like you are royalty! Thank you for making our stay in Phuket an unforgettable experience! 🙏🙏🙏

This place is amazing, but the staff really make it. They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed in the baray villa which was like a palace with the swim up pool. This was the best place we stayed in Thailand. Free shuttle bus to town and walking distance to Kata night market. The room had everything you needed, cleaning service very good. The restaurant let us cook the fish we caught. The breakfast was very good. Central AC which worked without the key card! Everything amazing.

Sawasdee Village was the perfect little getaway. The hotel was equipped with everything pools, food and great staff. The facility was always very clean. Each staff member was so very helpful from booking excursions to taxi rides. It was a little drive to most tourist attractions but well worth the stay. I will definitely stay again when I return to Thailand.

Very authentic Thailand vibe. The design and decor of the hotel made us feel like we were getting a true Thai experience. From the friendly staff, to the spa, the exotic pool areas with walk outs from the room - it was a great place to stay. Our only complaint was the "sewer" smell almost every day outside our deck. I also noticed the same smell in the shower water on occasion.

We have loved our stay at the beautiful Sawasdee Village. The hotel grounds are stunning, our room (a Cabana Suite) was lovely, the spa treatments amazing and the staff are all fantastic. The hotel was perfectly located, close to the areas bars, shops, restaurants and beach but set far enough back from the main road that it felt like a peaceful haven to return to. We would definitely recommend Sawasdee and would happily stay here again

This is a special hotel. I travel as part of my job and go on 3 holidays a year and I can say this is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The only thing I could fault would be the food. It wasn’t the best we had in Phuket.

The hotel was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is arranged as a number of different areas, each with its own theme (garden view, pool view, etc.) and all with decor to resemble tradition Thai buildings. The hotel also had a very good Thai restaurant with a very good selection of traditional Thai cuisine. The restaurant was also where an excellent breakfast buffet was served. Although the hotel is located in a busy area close to Kata beach and the Kata night market and local shops and restaurants, its setting and layout made it a very quiet location to stay. Definitely recommended.

Gorgeous Hotel

An amazing hotel, we stayed in one of the Cabana Suites and it was amazing to have access to the gorgeous pool and a private deck. The staff here were all lovely! We only stayed one night but it was so nice we’d love to go back.

This place is stunning! If you want to get the flavor of Phuket, Sawasdee is the place. Decor is off the charts gorgeous. Do the cooking class! Food delicious. Pools lovely.
