"The stay at the Caledon was exceptional. Pre-arrival information was clear and timely as was info on the morning we were to leave. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients with no stinting on the amount served. The coffee and tea in the room was of excellent quality. The bedroom was large and well lit and we really liked the layout with the two single beds at right angles giving us a little extra bit of personal space. The mattress and bedlinen was of good quality. The room was cleaned every day. We also appreciated the lovely artwork on the walls. The stairwell and carpet looked new and well cared for. The only thing we would have appreciated is a couple of hooks on the bathroom door to hang our clothes as the heating rack was used for our towels. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would defintely re-book. Thank you very much for providing such great service and hospitality ."

This caravan is one of the nicest ive evwr stayed in, the decor is gorgeous, it was bright and light, the little details like toilet seat for toddlers was a win for me and the kids books and games won us all over its little things like that, that make this place stand out. Having access to wifi and a smart tv perfect massive thanks for providing these sorts of things makes the stay that more comfortable. Bedding was super lush and the furnishings kids loved it. Had everythinh we needed for our short stay. Loved the decor. Thanks "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Woodvale. The food was excellent and despite it being a very busy time (just a few days before Christmas so lots of big parties) we didn't wait too long for our meals. We had a lovely, en-suite family room with a sea view. There was a sofa and coffee table too which gave us another space to sit, rather than just the bed. Even though there was a busy bar downstairs, we couldn't hear anything upstairs in the bedroom. We weren't disturbed by any noise. A definite bonus when you need your 8 year old to go to sleep!! The staff were exceptional. As I said, we stayed just before Christmas so it was busy with locals and parties but nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was so welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Woodvale to anyone and we will be booking again for another stay here! Thank you Steve and the team!"

"The property was clean and within distance of everything worth visiting (well it is the IOW so distance is no problem!)Dan the host was exceptional and made sure that everything was just so. It was a huge cottage for one person but that made it so much better, I could travel between rooms and felt that I had gone on a journey. Absolutely everything was there, even a tub of Meds for those small accidents. Faultless Dan and I thank you"

"OMG what a gem! I almost don’t want to share an opinion on the Villa Rothsay because I want to keep it for myself. Absolutely perfect in every way. But quirky and mysterious with amazing history. Our room was beautiful with seaview. We slept with the curtains open so as not to miss any waking moment. Margaret was welcoming and so knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious. Local produce - no UPFs here - Villa Rothsay preserves. Just beautiful. We were fortunate to have been there for the first day of Advent and the Christmas decorations were out of this world. I really didn’t want to leave. "
