"I can’t emphasise enough how great the hotel is and how attentive the staff are. The hotel itself is spectacular and there are so many activities and restaurants to visit that you’ll never get bored - even then, this hotel is located in the perfect location for you to go and explore Funchal. The hotel staff were also great in helping us plan our trip accordingly, especially for the time we had in Madeira - to the point that they even asked if we had seen any companies that we’d like to use for tours etc, rather than showing us ones that are affiliated with the hotel. Massive thanks to Beatrice in concierge! All I can say is, we will definitely be back! "

"Absolutely beautiful view from the balcony and master bedroom. About a 10-15 minute Bolt ride to Funchal depending on traffic. Great neighborhood. Beautiful pool area and cooking area outside in the complex on the ground level. Would stay here again! "

"The views and the breeze from the apartment were stellar. The apartment itself is a little funky but we had everything we needed. We LOVED the full-on views from the living room and bedrooms and the gardens all around . We very much appreciated the washer and dryer! Sadly, we couldn't sleep with the patio doors open for the fresh air because way down below is a highway with motorcycles racing in the middle of the night and my husband is sensitive to noise when sleeping. Filomena sometimes took a bit to respond but she was helpful and I really appreciated that she made a haircut appointment for me with a good stylist during our stay which was badly needed. The apartment is up multiple steep hills so it is not a walkable area but we found a few good restaurants close by that we drove to and of course ate in Funchal and other places around the island. The driving on Madiera is a challenge! The GPS kept lagging at crucial moments, but we learned to allow at least double the time on the GPS and did a lot of u-turns or round-about turns -all part of the experience of being on such a gorgeous mountain. We enjoyed out stay here very much."
