The hotel was very beautiful, everything was clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Parking was available on site but there were also plenty of parking available right outside the hotel. There were a few bars and restaurants nearby and you could also walk to some cliffs with a beautiful view. Definitely recommend.

Great property very easy to find, very easy to park. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The water pressure is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get free bottled water daily. Free breakfast is okay, nothing to write home about there but at least it’s free. Overall a very good stay and will be back

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's a great location for exploring the northwest corner of San Miguel (with a car) and is walking distance to the start of a good coastal walk. The breakfasts were great with a good variety of hot and cold food. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Awesome stay… Hotel Vale do Navio was closed…off season I’m sure so they put us up in Hotel Verde de Mar. Everything was amazing, the staff was wonderful, the property was gorgeous and the food was delicious! The employees were so kind, helpful and so kind. The view of the ocean and the pool was right out side my porch. The spa and heated pool was a super nice treat and I never use public pools…it was so clean, warm and the massaging jets were suck a treat. The only negative was the bed was pretty hard and not comfortable for me at all. I have back issues so I am sure it was definitely on me…and not the property! I would stay here many times over!! BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!

We got redirected to Pedras do Mar since Vale do Navio was closed so the review is about Pedras do Mar, which was a lovely stay :) The hotel is beautifully designed, the staff is extremely helpful, the views are amazing and it has everything you can ask for for a truly relaxing holidays close to nature!

The hotel was closed due to Covid 19 and was directed to same chain 5 starts hotel in the area. We served BF in the room due to corona virus outbreak . The staff were friendly and helpful . as everything in sao Miguel Island you need a car . Parking is free. View is outstanding.

The best part about our stay at the hotel was the reception staff. They politely answered all of our questions, and even let us borrow a universal adapter when we forgot to pack ours, instead of us having to go buy one!

Not a bad hotel
I would totally recommend the hotel to anyone, with one important caveat: the Internet was slow. I found this to be an annoyance, but for some, it may be the deal breaker. The room was clean and comfortable. Beach towels were provided for use in and out of the hotel (a local swim area is about 15 minutes by foot). The breakfast buffet was good (if not very imaginative), but do NOT try to take anything extra, EVEN A GLASS of HOT WATER. Yes, we were stopped, and my wife felt embarrassed. Not even food. As the island is small, this could be a good base to explore from. We did not eat dinner in the hotel (they had a buffet for €21), but we found other nice places to eat at close by. The pool and gym looked nice, but we only used the jacuzzi!
