Disappointed. Beautiful historical building unfortunately a lot more rundown than it appears in pictures. Cracks are starting to show. The type of hotel that will need a refresh soon otherwise it will feel like a time warp experience. Not thrilled about the chipped paint in our room or the constant screaming kids on premises running around in bathing suits.

The hotel heater didn't work in our room. Also, it was very run down. Stains on the floor around the toilet. Elevators are tiny. I understand it's an old and likely historic building, but it could really use some TLC.

The check in service was great, valet was helpful in opening doors, and I was offered an upgrade for 35 extra a night which I took. In my mind the upgrade made sense because I did not book a ADA room. Walking into the hotel was great and clean, but there was no tissue in the bathroom; nor did housekeeping restock any more until I asked before checkout, only the towels were restocked. The shower water would puddle, water would not even get warm and practically took semi-cold showers, and the toilet would require multiple flushes. The upgraded room was great during the day, but night time came and the music from the clubs could be heard. I have stayed at this location multiple times and have had better stays, this was not.
