This is a lovely in-town hotel, very clean and very helpful and friendly staff. We especially appreciated the nice touch of cookies in the evening and breakfast which started at 6:00 am because we had a very early doctor appointment to get to.

Rooms nice and clean, loved the old Inn feel and look. Our rm 107 had a large entry way with table sitting area, nice bathroom with a jetted tub. Liked that our room was on the first floor. Good coffee station and light continental breakfast items included. Only draw back was limited parking out back of the Inn, if you miss that have to park across the way a little at the union station plaza.

This place is very good for the price. Nothing fancy, but parking is included instead of paying $20 per day like other locations. It's really close to the hospital which is why I have stayed here 3 different times.

The staff at The Inn at St. John is friendly, warm, and made my stay very special! As a visitor from Massachusetts they brought the Maine charm!! There was one incident where me and a couple other residents were stuck outside at 1am ringing the doorbell for about 15 minutes because the staff wasn’t at the desk, but I think it was just a slip/she was in the restroom.

Good price if you don’t mind a 20 min walk. Had ample parking and room was small but enough for me, had a private bathroom but off a hallway which is fine. Staff really nice I liked it and recommend, if want to save money by being further out.

Good location. Great breakfasts. Not so close to downtown in the dead of winter so walking was not an option to historic Port area during Polar Vortex. But parking off season was not a problem so we simply drove everywhere.

I loved it. Was just there to visit a family member at Maine Med. this is right across the street and there are decent food options right around. Downtown is about an $8 uber ride or 1.5 mile walk. The staff was great and very positive and happy, the breakfast had something for everyone even gluten free options. The room was super cool- King with no windows and it was great. It was right off the food area lobby thing but the doors are old and thick so didn’t hear anything. I absolutely loved it.

I enjoyed my third visit here. I was, however, very disappointed Friday evening by the young man at the desk not breaking a ten bill. He made like he was checking BUT I fully doubt he actually checked. Very disappointing.
