"The location is beautiful and the property felt comfortable and like an oasis. The room was cute, clean, and smelled incredible. Coffee delivered to the room each morning was a lovely perk. I do wish the rooftop dining was fully open (they only had very limited pre-packaged options right now), but I understand they are getting back on their feet. I would absolutely stay there again."

"Absolutely loved the location. Being on Malibu Road makes it easy to come and go on a mellow street. The view is amazing, the deck is literally over the water at high tide and at low tide you can walk all the way to the Malibu Pier. We saw dolphins swimming by everyday. I’m a runner and so it was nice to just go out the door and run on Malibu Road. The location to restaurants and shopping is ideal. "

"This property instantly immersed us in the very best Malibu has to offer. A truly, one of a kind location on a gorgeous, quiet (feels almost private) beach, dry even at high tide. Waves crashing and dolphins playing right in front of the house. A fun, surfing point break right off the beach. Pace of life here immediately slows down, yet Malibu Colony with all its great amenities, restaurants and stores only 8 minutes away. The house was comfortable and well equipped; very much the owners' beloved home with their personal effects and memories shared trustingly and openly with their guests. The owners were easy to contact, very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommended for a family holiday in great comfort, with a truly privileged location. Having previously lived in Los Angeles, we returned with our family of six to experience the Malibu way of life and this really delivered."

"This is the perfect location to visit Malibu. The beachfront property and beach access is fabulous, definitely outweighs some oversights. Our biggest issue was when we arrived, the heat was on and the inside temp was 79 degrees while outside it was almost 90 degrees. We were slowly able to cool it down after 24 hours, but that was not the best way to start our stay. It has the makings of a great property, just needs some TLC and extra attention to small details (there was no salt and pepper, could use a nice freshening up, etc.) "
