Second time staying at Homewood Suites. This visit was better than the first time. Our room was right next to a back exit door which slammed shut. Otherwise all was good.

I love the kitchen and separate living room space. It was a great stay, I just wish that the dishes appeared more clean and that there was more to do in the area. It was perfect for my stay though, and the breakfast was good.

For the amount of money paid for a "suite" I'd been better off at a Red Roof Inn or another lower cost motel. The microwave was not clean, the "hospitality" shower soap close to empty (so I used my own), the toilet seat very low ( maybe suitable for anyone under 5 ft. tall), and I finally figured out the room door locking mechanism (give it 10 seconds to lock) on day two. The breakfast was what I'd expect at a lower cost motel, not a Hilton brand. Won't stay there again. Plus side: the area appears safe and is close to grocery stores, etc.
