This hotel is in the process of upgrading its facilities and one can tell that this will be a very nice hotel in the future. However, they do need to beef up security as I did not feel that the hotel was properly safe guarded. There were random people coming in to the hotel yelling and shouting aggressively. Lastly, the doors at least my door did not lock all the way and it further contributed to the security concerns. Hopefully, the grounds will be better protected in the future because this site has so much potential.

The hotel room had both great ocean and mountain views. The restaurant food was good. Staff were always friendly. I would recommend this hotel, especially rooms in the new building

Fort Young Hotel is unique in it's historical structure of being built on a Fort. The Property is beautifully and breath taking with views of both the Ocean and Mountain and is in walking distance of the old and new Market, Botanical Gardens, DBS, many restaurants and supermarkets. I was even more impressed and pleased with their customer service where each employee who I encountered was helpful, warm, authentically pleasant and made my 1night experience at Fort Young Memorable!
