Valet parking when we arrived was total mess. Line of cars and confusion with transfer of luggage. Then the next morning there was only cold water in shower. Kickback was very good as was breakfast. The valet who returned our car was polite young man.

We enjoy old historic hotels when traveling and the Drury did not disappoint. It is close to the river walk and a 15 minute walk to the convention center.. A pleasant breakfast and a complementary evening offering with complementary drinks was a welcome addition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bottom line, yes, we will stay there again.

The thing I noticed the most was how extremely friendly the entire staff was. It was just so nice. Hotel was perfect in so many ways. Breakfast was huge! So much to offer. Any request we had was taken care of asap. Hotel was clean and kept up. I would stay here again for sure.

This is an outstanding place to stay on the riverwalk in San Antonio. The rooms are clean and updated and the hotel itself is a magnificent renovated bank building from the 1920s. Our stay included a hot breakfast, dinner, and drinks each day. What a value for a very reasonable price! As if this all isn't good enough, their friendly staff is their hallmark. They make you feel like you've come home. We'll stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Most of the staff I talked to were valets and they were all super professional and nice. Great room, great pools, indoor and outdoor. Complementary food was good basic texmex stuff, no complaints. Perfect spot for walking the river walk.

Enjoyed our stay
Loved the ambience of the hotel that it used to be a bank. We enjoyed the location giving us easy access to the Riverwalk and sidewalk. The staff were friendly, especially those who worked the kickback. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but the people who left the luggage strollers in the elevator and hallways need to be hit in the side of the head for their laziness.
