We were checked in by the hotel manager. He was friendly and accommodating. He even walked us to our room to show us how key items worked. Unusually thorough and welcoming. He gave us several recommendations for dining. We chose one of those and were delighted with the menu, service and cuisine.

This is the best lodging we've found yet in Sedona. It's five minutes walk from the main streets and from Tlaquepaque shopping and restaurants. The view is fantastic and they have outdoor seating with couches and tables to enjoy the mountains. A real find. The lobby is like an art gallery and each room had a beautiful international art book to enjoy.

We stayed for two nights at the Sedona hilltop Inn at the room on the very end by the patio overlooking Sedona. The room was small to average size but comfortable. The young man that checked us in walked us down to the room, opened it up and showed us how to use some of the basic stuff and where things were located. I thought that extra touch of service was quite rare these days. Overall, our experience there was solid and we found the location extremely convenient to the hikes we had planned for the two days that we were there. We also ate at the restaurant right across the street and that was super convenient. The one thing that was a little strange was because we were parked at the very end spot it would’ve been very difficult to back all the way out of there had there been cars parked at every room. So we pulled in by the office and then backed our way all the way down to that final spot. Oh and we also needed and requested extra washcloths and we were quickly accommodated. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay.

The reception desk isn’t always open, but when I did check in, the clerk walked me to the room, showed me how everything worked and even called the next day to see if there was anything I needed. The room was spotless, and things like shampoo, toilet paper, etc. were replaced daily. The refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker all worked well, and were conveniently located. There was even a small table and two chairs to use for light meals when we didn’t feel like going out. The lighting was exceptional. Most motel rooms have low lighting at best, but this room had canned lights so there was plenty of light to see and read by. The linens were clean, but a bit aged, so they weren’t the softest, but there were plenty of them for our use, and they were replaced daily.

Location,location,location

The Sedona Hilltop Inn was in a perfect location, very clean and staff was excellent. There was some noise from the road but the trade off was that you were able to walk to Tlaquepaque, restaurants and shops. There was a patio to enjoy coffee in the AM and for socializing in the evening
