From the moment we arrived we were impressed by this hotel. The staff were friendly helpful and professional, check in was easy and we were able to have early access to our room. The room was spacious, clean and had excellent facilities. Well situated between the main shopping centre and Darling Harbour able to walk to everything. Definitely will stay here again.

Very good but let down by minor issue.
I booked a 1 Bedroom Luxury Suite which was very good but let down by some minor issues. There was plenty of living space and all the facilities you need for a self-catering experience but there were a few ugly scuff marks on the walls and some untidy wiring hanging from the TV. Good king sized bed which just about fit in the room but the access to the wardrobe was awkward. Good sized bathroom too but grouting in the shower could do with a good clean especially at the base. Overall, good self-catering accommodation in an excellent location for exploring Sydney but not fully at the "luxury" level.

The worse experience we had. Paid way expensive for one night, asking for a cancellation and told us to contact Travelocity so they can do something about it,then we contacted Travelocity telling us to contact Meriton Suites Sussex Street that if they agree we can do a refund.and they did not agree for us ending up we can't do anything about it,and the worse was the Sauna was out of order,which was one of the main reasons why we chose to book in Meriton Suites Sussex Street,we had so much stress dealing with this experience. One of the receptionist told us that we will wait and they will call someone to fix the sauna,yet we were there at the spa waiting for more than an hour and nobody came,fooling us with misinformation! We are just hard workers who wanted to relax and have sauna that is why we booked again in one of the Meriton Suites !what we paid was way too expensive for one night with the disappointment of wasn't able to have Sauna. We had to talk to the manager in charge saying "sorry for the inconvenience"? We were already frustrated even what they have offered us. We won't be coming here again! Some of the staffs are not friendly as well, asking me from which Country i came from in the very start that we are about to pay in the reception with our booking! What an arrogant manner!

For the rate that the hotel is charging, I would expect a lot more. There are not much facilities onsite and the only good part is the location near Darling harbour.

It is a nice property and the apartments are good. I have stayed here a few times but it is not my go to. Positives are that the apartments are a decent size, it is clean and front desk staff are good. Things you may want to consider is that there are not a lot of dining options near by so you will need to walk a few blocks, no room service or on site dining so you will need Uber Eats or similar, no daily housekeeping etc so you are pretty self sufficient. If you are there for a while, it is great as you can cook for yourself etc. If you are on a short business trip, for the same money there are other 5* hotels closer to the action. It just comes down to what you are looking for.
