"Cute property that gave a cozy feel to the stay. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The hot tub was massive which was unexpected. Target was nearby. The hotel was a quick jump away (10 min) from the Amarillo Civic Center so it served our purpose. "

"Check-in and check-out was easy. The buffet breakfast provided was excellent with numerous options. The staff kept it well stocked and clean. Non-disposable dinnerware was used. The property was kept very clean. The staff was very friendly. The fitness room was clean and well-equipped. The room was very well-appointed and showed some imagination with an elevated area on the vanity to allow more room for placing toiletries and other items and knobs in various places for hanging clothes or other personal items. There was a large television with good reception. The room had comfortable beds, was spacious, and quiet. There were good dining options within a reasonable distance. I didn’t give the surrounding area a 5 star rating because the area is under development and has some roadwork that needs to be finished. Overall, I highly recommend this property and consider it a great value for the price."

"This is the second time we stayed here and definitely not the last! Really fun and nice room at an incredible price. Everything about the experience of staying at the Big Texan is executed perfectly: A basic, clean motel room with all the necessities we are looking for, super nice and accommodating staff, plenty of parking (even for our rig with a travel trailer) and a mini dog park for our dog. And of course the main attraction: The Big Texan Steak Ranch restaurant. So, so good food with the same impeccable service. Yes, we will be back!"
