Bar in lobby open at 4 pm and has very poor selection … food service is weak, no room service and mediocre breakfast at best ! Bar should be open all day or 12-8!! Room is terrible ! Furniture is bad and absolutely not worth the money we paid!!! Big Delusion!!!!!

We have stayed at this wonderful property several times and always looked forward to coming back. We have referred family/friends and enjoy watching our kids run in the lobby to see if Racer (friendly house pup) happens to be around. Unfortunately, our experience during this last stay became rather traumatic for our young kids two days before Christmas. More specifically, an employee decided to share his unsolicited thoughts about not believing in Christmas which is fine and we respect. Inexplicably, the employee went on to comment on how Santa was not real right in front of our kids and that parents are the ones who place gifts under the tree. Also, how the alleged date of the birth of Jesus did not make sense and it should be in July. Our son did not stop questioning the whole trip back to DIA, on plane and again on Christmas Day. The innocence of young children is invaluable. Shattering their belief in Santa was not something we were expecting on our last day there 12/23. The sad part is that the employee was so nice, respectful and friendly our entire stay. We don’t want him to get in trouble. Perhaps, just some counsel and training. To the staff’s credit, Danielle (front desk) was mortified and very apologetic as was the manager Carlos who took the time to listen. We want to say we will visit again one day but can’t shake the disappointment knowing it was the place a grown adult decided to ruin Christmas for our family.

Rude front desk staff who came to knock on my door to kick me out after confirming a later check out time with me, was incredibly disrespectful saying she had guests and that we would have to “get out” and also we were not given our Expedia gold benefits.

Beautiful hotel only a short walk to gondola one and Vail Village. Our room was small and cramped but we were hardly in it. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We didn’t use the fitness center but it was very nice. Valet parking and the resort fee were pricey but it’s Vail after all.

This is our second stay at the property. The first stau was very good so we decided to return for our anniversary.However, on the second stay with our two service dogs, we were put in a very small room. We thought we were going to get a similar room as a first. Since we live locally in Colorado, we requested a refund so we could leave early. Then my wife became ill and we had to get back to Denver to get treatment for her. They still wouldn’t give us a refund for one night. In addition, we asked a call from the owner, and she never called back. This is poor customer service. The resolution would’ve been very easy.
