"We loved our stay! The house had everything we needed!"

"Perfectly located for exploring the Northern Redwoods for the first time. So many trails and fantastic drives were all very close. The cabin is clean and well furnished, perfect for our family of 5. All 5 beds were very comfortable. Weather was cool, the home was easy to heat, great kitchen and virtual fireplace heater nice touch in the living room. Before our stay, we read an earlier review that mentioned highway noise. After reading this review I was a little concerned, being a light sleeper. I was relieved to discover that road noise was not an issue. Although The cabin is located right off the 101, which is a well trafficked road during the day. Noise from the highway was not noticeable, back bedrooms very quiet, particularly at night when there was very little traffic. "

"The Equoni house was a great location to access hikes. The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The host did a great job of communicating (like- you will need to get groceries on your way there because there are not restaurants or stores nearby). We did the nearby James Irvine hike and Fern Canyon. Spectacular! "

"Unique. Clean. Beautiful. Good location for trails, adventure, and exploring The Redwood National Park. Make sure to pay attention to the floor plan and layout of the house, it worked fine for our family but could be difficult for some. Overall a great experience!"

"So close to Prarie Creek State Park, the convenience is amazing. Looks like a recent remodel and paint, so looks like new. Good bed. Very helpful staff. Hot tub is nice after a long day hiking. Only complaint: No freezer in the refrigerator."

"Although it is an older hotel it was clean and well maintained. In the middle of downtown so just parked and walk. Right on the highway which had minimal traffic at night which i did not hear."
