Not the worst but left a lot to be desired
Lobby, courtyard, pool and beach looked great. The view of the ocean and coastline is one of the hotels redeeming qualities. Rooms are outdated. Beds were decently comfortable. AC worked great. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. You can open a small window but opens up to the hallway. Staff were very friendly. The biggest disappointment for me was the hotel had no amenities. No room service. No all day/ late night food or drink options. Had one kinda of up scale restaurant, which was good but expensive. Lunch at the pool was more reasonable but we basically had to drive to get every meal. They don’t offer paddle boards or snorkeling gear or any beach activities. And the beach is very rocky. Can’t really go in. But snorkeling would be good if you had a life jacket. The location as a jumping point to explore the west side of the island was good but there is nothing you can walk to. No morning stroll or shops. Had to drive everywhere. Hard to find a lot of family activities. Tons of bars but again have to drive. Didn’t have a lot of time to research for my vacation but I think there’s probably a lot better hotels and locations that would have better suited my family vacation.

Hotel bonito, pero necesita mucho mantenimiento
El hotel es muy bonito y esta en una muy buena localización, pero parece que no le dan mantenimiento hace mucho tiempo. Le hace falta una buena pintura. La piscina necesita limpieza profunda, que pinten el piso, iluminación para la noche y un salvavidas que este pendiente de que se sigan las reglas. En la propiedad puede entrar y salir cualquier, ya que no hay control de acceso ni guardia. Hace falta remodelacion en los cuartos y el televisor ni funcionó bien. Además, el baño sin buena limpieza.

El hotel tiene excelente localización y vistas eso es lo único que lo hace bonito, por lo demas el hotel está bastante deteriorado. La seguridad es ninguna o muy poca, el estacionamiento es limitado pero siempre hay disponibles, el área cercana tiene buenas opciones de comida u entretenimiento. El hotel tiene un restaurante que abre para desayuno y cena, adicional tiene uno en el área de la piscina para almuerzo. Los preciso de los restaurantes están moderados/económicos (para ser un hotel) y la.calidad es promedio. El hotel es bonito en general pero está descuidado, me he quedado en 3-4 ocasiones en los últimos años pero esta es la última, ya no vale la pena el costo del mismo. La piscina muy bonita pero bastante sucio y descuidada y la playa muy bonita pero el área no es segura para bañarse.

The property was extremely outdated and in need for a renovation. The paint was chipping, the pool chairs were stained, the pool filtration system was not great. It's listed as a five star resort but the only thing five star was the staff who were very nice and accommodating. There was no beach front even though it shows pictures on Expedia (most of it damaged by resent hurricanes). Only one of the two pools was open. It says it has three restaurants on the property; which also isn't true. There is one restaurant and the bar by the pool where you can order food. Food and drinks are good, but not for the prices. You must rent a car, taxi's run on their own time and uber's aren't really a thing. Overall, super disappointed and would not recommend.

Excellent place for a family break…
Great place to stay for a break. Peaceful and quiet. Confortable rooms. Rooms needs to be checked to verify everything is fine, ( fridge wasn’t working properly, some lights) Definitely cleanness in bedrooms, needs to be improved. Including facilities grounds.. But definitely I will come back for another break… Staff are great!!!

This a beautiful hotel property with a lot of potential. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the hotel has an open, airy feel, and it’s right off of the ocean. The beach is small and not much love has been put to it. The pool is huge and very relaxing, but for there to not be a bartender/ server there on a Saturday… kind of defeats the purpose of a pool bar. On Sunday there was someone there but when I approached, I was informed that it was closed. I checked the time and it was only 4:39! That’s pretty lame since we’re paying a pretty penny to stay there. To that I’ll say that the amenities are seriously lacking. We ordered a pina colada from the inside lobby bar and it was very dull in flavor. Our room was a 2 bedroom which was beautiful but it’s 2024 and there’s no streaming service. Just basic tv. Just from looks this is a beautiful place, but all of these little details matter when giving guests the feeling of getting what they paid for, and that we did not.

The hotel is really cute and cozy as a little boutique hotel. The pool area is beautiful, and the beach is ok. It could have better maintenance for the rooms as the property is not brand new, but everything was working perfectly.

Beatiful, comfortable but needs upgrading.
My family wanted to get to explore Puerto Rico, and we picked Rincon. I have to say that if you don’t surf or if you are going during the summer months, it’s a very sleepy town, not too much to do or see. The hotel was ok, but I wouldn’t stay here again. It has a nice setup but this hotel needs a little remodeling. The food wasn’t too exceptional, and not too many options for Vegan / plant base diet.
