I love the loft setup and kitchen unit ! Was a good setup for 2 adults with 2 teens in separate beds upstairs . Very quiet and view was awesome of the mountains !

My favorite place to stay in Banff - like a home away from home. Wonderful rustic atmosphere and a great quiet spot just above the town. Very family-friendly but also the rooms are quiet when inside. For Banff prices this is really terrific value, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It's great to have a little kitchen and be able to build a fire in the fireplace in winter. There's even a little playground for the wee ones.

When we checked in the property seemed okay, dated and bit dusty, but overall immediate impression was that it would do. However after being there for a couple of hours and getting settled in we noticed that all the vents were covered in "black" gunk and dust and every light switch and outlet in the suite were disgustingly dirt. It was getting cold and the heat kicked in and the crap in the vents was everywhere, I ended up with a night of coughing and woke up with a swollen eye the next morning. I showed the staff the condition of the vents and the next day they had the maintenance staff come in and remove and clean all three vents in the room, as well as wiped down all the outlets/light switches which looked they had not been touched in months. Upon talking to staff at the front desk a couple of days later they were very apologetic about the cleanliness of the suite and mentioned that they were now going around looking at all of the rooms for these types of issues to get them corrected before they got another complaint. Would we stay there again? Possibly, I did find everything else to be absolutely fine once the immediate issues were resolved, my husband might need a bit more convincing.

I was very disappointed in our stay. Checkin was fine except our room cards didn’t work on the locked elevator or locked stairs the first time.The pool was murky. The elevator rug was filthy as was the hallway rug. I booked a standard room. What they didn’t say in the description was that the room was in the basement. The view through dirty windows was mud and grass. They had renovated the room but it still seemed shabby. The beds were comfortable but the lighting was poor with either most of the lights on or off. It seemed clean except the shower floor was stained black and needed a proper scrubbing. We ran the water for 5 minutes but it never got hot enough for a shower. The parking was super tight. It was extremely difficult to get out of the parking spot. They shouldn't allow parking on both sides of the complex. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and will not stay again.

Good stay
We had to pay the deposit and the cost of the hotel upon arrival. Which was lame in my opinion. Perfect family room. Bathroom needed a deep clean. The floor was dirty. When I got water on the floor from the shower I used the bath tub towel and the towel was dirty. The toilet had a few spots. Overall good stay, just needs a deep detailed clean. The fire place was the best part.

Great place to stay!
A great place to get out of the city! Love the bus tickets offered instead of driving uour car everywhere. The chalwts are cosy, comfortable and very clean.
