We got a room without a door handle to open the door from the inside, how could the hotel not know this? We were locked in the room without a way to get out, if there was a fire we would be dead. Phone in the room didn't work. After ~30 minutes I finally was able to use my stainless steel straw for my tumbler to twist open the lock to get out. The front desk staff was very friendly, but again, how could the hotel not know this My wife thinks some human trafficker intentionally removed the door handle to keep someone in the room.
