Customer service is awful
The hotel is really nice. Very clean and comfortable. However, when I walked in the door, two people were working behind the counter and the bartender was standing by the counter. None of them greeted me. I had to say hello first as I got to the desk. Then everyone just looked at me. I stood there waiting to see who was going to help me. one of the guys behind the desk told the girl she could handle it because he was busy with something. She looked at him and said something about thinking he was going to handle me. Then the bartender said well I can’t take care of you because I’m the bartender. I was floored. Couldn’t believe that’s how I was greeted. I said “wow. I feel loved”. They mumbled faint laughter. Also, I went to the bar to eat and drink. Was told at 9:00 that the kitchen was closed and that the chef just had 6 orders. I asked if I could add an 8th and was told no. Online the restaurant says that it’s open till 10. Below that it says the bar is open till 11. I asked the bartender if they were only closing at nine tonight or if they always do because online it said 10 o’clock. He said the bar closes at 10. Which is inaccurate according to the website. It says it closes at 11 and that food is served till 10. The woman who checked me out this morning was extremely friendly, had a great personality and helped me out with some suggestions for breakfast.

The property was just fine in all respects. It was just rather irksome that I could not pay for a small bag of pistachios with cash rather than having to put it on my hotel bill. I don't use my credit card for such inconsequential purchases. Otherwise we were quite happy with our stay.
