"We were at Beech Mountain fora weekend wedding & made a short vacation by bringing our 15 yr old dog. We went on long walks and found local restaurants to be very good! We loved the privacy because I had 100 family members in town for a wedding. Only gave location a 4 because of the winding roads to and from town. We are seniors and managed them fine, Would return in summer or winter .Highly recommend!"

"The little creekside cabin was perfect for a weekend family getaway. It's cozy and had everything we needed. The host is fantastic! The only slight drawback was the proximity to the Beech Mountain Parkway (it backs up to the Parkway), but there was very little traffic and there is a steep incline to help keep kids away from the road. Overall, a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it. "

"Unfortunately we experienced Hurricane Helene rather than the vacation we had planned. Despite this we made the best of a terrible situation and Diane as the host was extremely supportive and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. I would love to go back in the future and experience this cute chalet and area under much better circumstances. "

"I have stayed there twice now and have not been disappointed. Towels and bed linens and pillows are higher-end products. The property is as advertised. Everything for a comfortable stay, including well-stocked kitchen utensils and such. The property is very clean. Very convenient to Beech Mountain restaurants and a short walk to the ski resort. As with most mountain properties in this area there are stairs to navigate from living area to bedrooms, and to get to outside ground level, but the half-bath on living area level is a big help. "
