The property was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. I added breakfast and it was worth it each morning. The food and drink during other hours was good. The area was populated and safe, and very close to a tube station. I would stay here again.

Room was spotless. Lovely bathroom, with large white towels, which you rarely seem to get in other hotels. Staff very friendly. Bed was too firm and uncomfortable, and I didn’t particularly like that staff jump in front to restock the breakfast buffet whilst guests are choosing their breakfast. Otherwise we had a very good stay. Thank you!

A lovely central hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff. We found greetings and smiles flowed freely throughout our stay, from the reception staff, waiters and even maintenance staff!

Great reception staff with a warm welcome. I received a complimentary room upgrade which was unexpected and a nice surprise. Room clean, fresh and well presented. Complimentary water and minibar along with tea and coffee (pod machine). Bathroom clean, good range of toiletries and bathrobes with slippers. Breakfast was everything you would expect and good quality. Overall, I am very glad to have chosen the Thistle hotel. So many hotels in London promise lots and deliver little but I will be choosing this hotel for future stays in london.

Gem of a hotel near British Museum
We had a fabulous stay at the Thistle Hotel. Despite its location in a busy section of London… it is peaceful clean and quiet. Lovely and hearty breakfast buffet. Convenient to the Elizabeth line. Excellent restaurants in walking distance. Special thanks to staff Aisha and Vihari who rapidly solved a problem for us. We will definitely be back next time we are in London.

Junior suite was lovely although the windows looked out onto a brick wall. The fridge didn’t work, neither did some channels on the tv in the main bed room and the shower temperature was too hot even on the coolest setting.
