This place needed a major upgrade ten years ago. Filthy ingrained carpets in the halls and rooms, everything reeks of old age and neglect. In the room smell of old age. Comforters ready for the dump.

Found out upon arrival that in hotel restaurant was closed for renovation. Also, Pool Area used to have a hot tub, but it was removed, so only a pool now. Some guests at hotel (boyfriend/girlfriend arguing in lobby, "overly" freindly guy walking down hallway close to people in our group, etc) made some family members feel uncomfortable in the facility.

Not worth the energy or money
No restaurant on site; yet it was advertised on the website. I noticed that the construction of the building wasn’t mentioned either. When i entered my room it was freezing cold, I mentioned it and was offended a blanket and when i mentioned it to the front desk was spoken to poorly. Finally I had to leave early due to a family emergency and was told to contact the website for a refund as the hotel wasn’t able to help. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Won’t be returning next year!!

Took 25 min after arriving at 3:10. This , with two agents at the front desk. Expressly did not want first floor due to allergies and asthma. I know this was where dog rooms were at one time. Still, after mentioning again, we were given first floor. Not only could I smell remnants of dog, but also very strong smoking odour, even though I’m sure no smoking was a rule from years ago. I guess Killz paint does not work all the time. Rugs were old, dimly lit hallways and dirty paint on walls. The bathroom was not fully clean for mould, old soap etc. very hesitant close bathroom door handles (very oily, greasy, grundgy. We have travelled worldly, but this comes close to bottom of list. I know we were at a mid range hotel, but still less than I expected. Sorry, to be harsh an critical, but you wanted my opinion. Location however, was good for Stratford Festival theather. Thank you Bill

The room as specious and included fridge and microwave. It was nice and clean. We stayed 3 nights and were given no housekeeping services and had to request extra towels. The parking lot is a mess. The security doors could use an upgrade.

Too much money for what they offered. Grounds were shabby. Hotel light was off at 10 pm so difficulty finding it. Driving past it looks like an abandoned property. Toilet was not attached properly to the floor.

The staff were wonderful. The parking lot was falling apart. Construction areas made access inconvenient. The rooms were somewhat dated and there were incomplete cosmetic repairs in places. The room was nice and clean. People were drinking alcohol, smoking, and congregating by the entry doors. Security should have cleared them out.
