Stayed in Livingston 2 nights after a week visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Very little to do in Livingston, but it was a great base to stay closer to the airport prior to flying home (had already stayed in Bozeman on the way in, so wanted to see a different town). The Murray Hotel is a gem, taking you back in time. Lots of history. Beautifully maintained and well-kept. The only real challenge for us was staying on the 4th floor. While they do have an elevator, it’s old, manually operated, and they only allow their staff to run it (understandably). This means constantly asking for assistance, which i always felt bad doing, but with knee issues, I had no choice. They are gracious and accommodating with all requests. Definitely stay here for. a night or two for the experience, but might want to re-consider if you have any mobility issues.
