"This was a lovely hotel and conveniently located right next to the castle — in fact, our room had a direct view of the castle, which was so nice! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Lovely clean and recently renovated room. Front of the property and on the first floor so a stunning view of Cardiff and Caerphilly mountain. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and quality items on the menu. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel and stunning views. Only small gripe is that the hotel was a little warm, nothing that couldn’t be sorted by opening the windows and turning off the radiator in the room. Fan in the wardrobe and also available at reception. Then again who could predict 20 degrees in April! "

"Our hosts were welcoming and helpful from the first minute of greeting. There was a welcome pack and everything you need for a short break. The totally secure, dedicated garden meant our dog was free to wander safely which means we could relax. You do need a car to be able to shop etc, it is very tucked away! The bed has no frame so I would say anyone who needs a firmer mattress would find it challenging although we found it comfortable! WIFI is excellent and the main living area is large and very homely. Kitchen is well stocked and everything works well. A lovely stay in a beautiful place, I am sure we will be back!"
