"We had a spacious room with balcony that faced the pool and ocean as practically all rooms have a similar view. We enjoyed the large pools which were very clean and inviting. The grounds were meticulously manicured and hotel, restaurants and facilities were very clean. All restaurants including the large buffet were excellent with plenty of delicious food and drinks. All staff from all aspects of the hotel were very friendly and aim to please! We had an issue with a private pick up from hotel to airport and spoke with”Trishana” from courtesy desk and she sure went to bat for us to resolve the issue in a professional manner! We enjoyed our stay at Bahia Principe Grand Jaimaca very much!"

"After visiting resorts in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, we decided to try this one. At first, we weren’t sure about it—it’s smaller, not brand new, and only has one pool. However, after six days, we can confidently say this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! The service was exceptional, and our nanny, Patrice, was amazing and incredibly helpful. The only downside for us was the main food dishes, but that’s because we’re picky eaters and only eat Kosher. That said, the desserts were absolutely delicious and a real highlight! The resort’s small size turned out to be a blessing, especially with three kids. It felt cozy, like home, and the layout was perfect—you could even see the kids’ play area from the restaurant, which gave us peace of mind knowing they were safe. Thank you for an amazing vacation! We’ll definitely be back! "

"The condo was absolutely immaculate, the beds comfortable, and the location great! We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, 16, 14 and 12. The space was perfect for us and having the 2 bathrooms upstairs plus the powder room downstairs was truly ideal. The beach was beautiful, the pool was refreshing and the staff were friendly and accommodating. If you have younger kids, there are many activities geared towards keeping them occupied and having fun. The nannies seem to truly like kids and the activities staff is super engaging, even to adults. My own kids didn't get a lot out of the activities. I would urge anyone with teens to bring snorkel gear, tennis rackets and a basketball pump, as the property is great for all these activities although the equipment at the resort is not great. The snorkeling opportunities were absolutely amazing right off the beach. We didn't do all-inclusive every day, but the host was super helpful and provided a wealth of information before and during our stay to help us navigate. Even without all-inclusive, the staff was committed to helping and accommodating any way they could and arranged many things we could pay for "a la carte". Another huge plus is the location as there are many excursions within a reasonable driving distance that my kids loved and that the staff helped us to arrange. I would highly recommend this space for a safe, clean and friendly atmosphere in the breathtaking environment of Runaway Bay!"
