"We've stayed in this hotel a couple of times and before new management. A lovely hotel and warm."

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. We slept like logs and woke to have full breakfast that Jonathan cooked which was lovely fresh and hot. Will be booking again without a doubt."

"Absolute Gem of a place, super clean, cosy and lovely little village Cark is, this was a great hub for me and my boy to do Scaffel whilst my wife and daughter took a train into Ulverston for the day "train station 2 min walk away". Definitely one the best kept places we have stopped in. Neighbours really friendly also :)"
