"Very relaxing, obviously out of season but plenty staff available. Great accommodation looking over gardens and across lake windermere. Spa was available and a nice sized swimming pool, jacuzzi & sauna's. Limited menu, but still a good choice and variety."

"We had an amazing time at The Lakes Hotel and Spa. The service from Patrick when we first arrived and from Benn when we visited the restaurants was exceptional. We will definitely book again. "

" We booked the Pines for 3 nights and we were both pleasantly surprised, it's a gem. The lodges are set around a tranquil lake and are easily accessible from the M6. The lodge was very clean and very well equipped, comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels and central heating. The staff were really friendly and informative. The bar area is relaxing and inviting, I cannot really comment on the quality of the food at the restaurant as the lodges are geared for self catering with extensive equipment, such as, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, everything you need is provided...so we didn't eat in the restaurant but did notice the menu prices seemed expensive. Obviously been so close to major roads we expected some noise from traffic, but it was minimal and the lodges are double glazed. We really enjoyed our stay😊 I'd definitely recommend giving the Pines a visit."
