I love this place normally. I have been having to travel for work and once a month me and my wife meet there for a getaway together. 1st 2 times were great but this last was terrible. Since my wife and I only see each other for a weekend once a month due to work travel. The construction going on all day Saturday which seemed to be directly above our heads was so horrible and started so early. We knew about the weekday construction and the memo in the room confirmed it. But it was NOT for Saturday. only Monday thru Friday. Anyway, it was not great. So now we looking around and maybe try another place in the same area because the location is amazing.

The Charleston Place is first class all the way. From great service the minute you arrive to in hotel dining choices to the high end shops in the hotel and perfect proximity to The French Quarters and the historic area.
