The place is amazing and front staff are so friendly and helpful.. only downfall is the management as we offered to pay $100 to stay 3 hours extra so $50 less what we would have paid to stay the night and were told no not to mention we had already stayed 5 nights!! Disappointing and to a great stay in Charlottetown !!!

Had a great stay at the Great George for our wedding anniversary! Morning breakfast included fresh out of the oven croissants! Delicious! Bed was very comfortable and the decor was so much better than expected!

Amazing stay except for the 8 wasps in our room. We removed them on our own and let the desk know. They were very understanding and surprised we didn’t say anything at the beginning of our stay. Will stay again for sure! Loved everything else.

It was interesting that the hotel property is actually 18 historic houses. From the street it does not look like a hotel. It blends in nicely with the neighbourhood

Cozy stay in the heart of historic Charlottetown
My husband and I had a wonderful stay while visiting family in Charlottetown! I grew up in Charlottetown and had always been curious about this place, and our stay did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, our room was cozy, and the cookies were delicious. We would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone!

Room was great but on the street level so that opening the blinds leaves you open to ‘be seen’. Second floor may be preferred for that reason but lovely room and wonderful Bed!! Lobby/ Lounge area gorgeous and ‘homey’ Old style leather furniture and fireplace lounging as in the early 1900’s

Beautiful old fashion historic hotel . Lobby is wonderfully charming with comfy old leather sofas and period furniture. Staff was cheerful and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay here when visiting Charlottetown.

I had a lovely stay in the main building. Staff were really attentive and warm. Happy hour drink and delicious breakfast were appreciated. The only thing that wasn’t great was the carpet in our room (203) was really yucky /stained by the fridge.

Comfy Stay at the Great George
This is a lovely location right in the heart of Charlottetown. The bed was so super comfy that I had a great night of sleep every night. Breakfast was good however some variety would be nice seeing that we stayed 4 night and every day was basically the same. Maybe some local cheese from the local Cows creamery and other local products would make it more boutique like. As I travel often and feel like the staff was very nice and helpful they even gave us a lovely bottle of wine and some snacks in our room for our special trip. The only things I can mention is that more attention to cleaning would be nice. Like the corners of the bathrooms and exit door etc. Some attention should be giving to looking up and down like light fitting and corners bad cobwebs etc. we traveled in October so it was low season with lovely weather. Overall I would recommend this location.
