"A perfect place if you need to relax, we had such a great time! The hotel is undergoing some major renovations, so don't expect luxuries but our bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean. The beach was steps down from our room and not crowded! And the view from our balcony - priceless. We didn't really care for a glamorous hotel with a pool (didn't matter that it was closed), we wanted a beautiful beach, do some snorkeling and unwind. And this is what we had."

"To be honest I was nervous after reading some old reviews on this property. But I was not disappointed!! Yes they are remodeling but that never got in the way of our great service. Room was clean. We had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and eating utensils. Oh and that air conditioner is cold. Ocean view. Staff is amazing! Only thing we can’t give a 10 on is water pressure in the shower. But it worked and if you wait just a minute it will heat up and there is plenty of hot water. Oh and we never seen one bug in our room. Now that is pretty great considering you are on an island. A few mothers earlier we visited the island for the first time. We stayed close by at a very expensive resort. That experience was a 6 at best. Drinks are cold at the bar and food is pretty good.After staying here at Bungalows on the Bay we won’t stay anywhere else. Keep up the great work on the property and please don’t lose your amazing customer service. "

"The Buccaneer was fantastic. Clearly the best place to stay in St. Croix. Could have spent the entire vacation on site but too many other attractions on the Island to see. Staff was friendly and professional, dining was excellent. Breakfast on the terrace was a job plus. Beaches pristine and beautiful. "
