This a great location. Hotel staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just be thing about my room was the carpet. It looked clean but I think it may need to be shampooed. It felt damp in certain areas so it made the room smell a little musty.

Upone arrival at the property we received our room and upon entering the room there was an unsettling overwhelming oder thru out the room of heavy must or stale sour mop water. I reported the stence to the front desk and left for several hours, once we returned the room was still wretched, i went back to the front desk again and discussed it's condition. This receptionist on duty was gracious enough to offer us a different room that was much better.

Room Issues
Front desk was friendly. When we checked in room was very dirty. The stains, dirt, hair on the top blankets stood out as soon as we walked in. When pulled back the blanket it was very dirty all over entire blanket. Notified front desk and was told I would need to retrieve new blankets at front desk and I will need to replace bed linens myself. Went to use restroom before heading down to front desk only to find hair and dirt in shower, on toilet seat, wall and bathroom counter. Called front desk to move to another room. We then was moved to another room a few doors down. When we opened the door to new room, we was winded by pet urine and odor. The smell was so strong that my wife stayed outside while I went in to use the phone to call front desk and notify her on room issue. Phone was not working and unplugged so I called from my cell phone. We was then moved to a third room a few doors down from other two rooms. The water in the third room was could not get hot.

Nice Hotel With Lots of Restaurants Near By.
The Lady at the check-in was very nice and professional. The hotel appears to be fairly new and looks to be very well maintained. Our room was nice. The bathroom was clean. The AC worked fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. I usually bring a fan to give a little white noise but I forgot it this trip. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports. The location seems safe. The parking lot was well lit. There were several restaurants within walking distance. There are several more just two minutes away by car. There’s an HEB grocery store the next block over. The only weak spot was the breakfast. It was ok, but a little more variety with the hot items wouldn’t hurt. Overall my Wife and I enjoyed our stay and we plan on staying again the next time we’re in Corpus Christi.
